6 Months Limited Warranty
What’s Covered?
Case-Magic’s 6-month manufacturer’s limited warranty protects against defects in workmanship and materials for 6 months from the purchase date. Case-Magic will repair or replace its product if, due to defective parts or workmanship, it does not perform as specified. This limited warranty covers only the repair or replacement of the product itself. This limited warranty is extended to the original consumer purchaser only. Case-Magic’s liability to the customer, if any, shall in no event exceed the total of the purchase price. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore, sections of the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Any representations or promises inconsistent, or in addition to this warranty are unauthorized and shall not be binding upon Case-Magic.
Exclusions:
- Normal wear and tear of case use
- Misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse, or other abnormal use
- Use of the case other than for its intended purpose
- Damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance
- The case that has been modified or altered
- Any case that is not manufactured by Case-Magic (including, without limitation, any non-Case-Magic product that is used in conjunction with the case)
- Any case that is not purchased from a Case-Magic authorized reseller
Do I need to register my case to take advantage of the 6 months limited warranty?
You do not need to register your case to be covered by Case-Magic’s limited warranty. An original or copy of a sales receipt and/or order number from our website or authorized reseller is required for warranty service.
Who is covered?
This 6 months limited warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end-user purchaser. A copy of a sales receipt from the original authorized Case-Magic purchase is required for warranty service. This 6 months limited warranty does not cover products purchased from unauthorized retailers (including, without limitation, online 3rd party sellers who sell on auction sites). Online sales auction confirmations are NOT accepted for warranty verification.
How can I file a warranty claim?
To begin a warranty claim, please contact our customer service department at care@case-magic.com and enter “warranty claim” in the subject line. Please include the following info in your email:
- Photo of the damaged case showing the issue
- Copy of your sales receipt or order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Shipping address for the replacement and phone number
Providing all of the information above will help to expedite the review of your claim. We will evaluate your claim (typically within 3-5 business days) to determine if it qualifies for a warranty replacement and will contact you via email regarding the status of the claim. Should the case need to be returned for inspection, Case-Magic is not liable for cases that are damaged or lost in transit to Case-Magic.
My iPad broke while it was in a Case-Magic product. Will you replace it?
So sorry to hear that. While our cases provide impact protection from drops, we, unfortunately, can’t guarantee that they will prevent any damage to the device.
Ready for a repair? Here’s how to start:
1. Send an email to care@case-magic.com and be sure to include:
- A clear picture of the issue (natural lighting helps!)
- Your original Case-Magicorder number
- Proof of your AppleCare+ membership
2. Once our support staff has confirmed eligibility, they’ll give you the green light to submit your iPad to Apple for repair.
3. Once it’s been fixed, email us the repair receipt.
4. We’ll process a refund on your original order to cover the repair costs so you can go back to streaming!
**We cover AppleCare+ repair fees if your iPad gets damaged while in a Case-Magic case (US orders only).
**If you do not have AppleCare+ and your iPad was damaged while in a Case-Magic case, please reach out to us at care@case-magic.com for further assistance.
Our 6 months manufacturer’s limited warranty does not cover damage to any device or personal property. Case-Magicis not liable for any damage or destruction to consumer electronic devices or other personal property.
Unauthorized Sellers
Please note that there are many sellers that sell our products on Amazon.com or other online sites without our authorization. When purchasing Case-Magic products on Amazon, it is important to note where the product is being “shipped from and sold by” in order to confirm that Case-Magic is the seller. This is typically stated in the buy box for each product. Warranties are only available for Case-Magic products sold by authorized sellers. If you are uncertain if you are purchasing from an authorized reseller, please contact us at care@case-magic.com for assistance.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Case-Magic or its authorized suppliers be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of the use of the case, including, without limitation, property damage, loss of value of the case or any third party products that are used in or with the case, even if Case-Magic has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Case-Magic has no liability for any damage or destruction to consumer electronics devices or other personal property that are in the cases, or any loss of data contained in the device. Notwithstanding any damages that you might incur for any reason whatsoever (including, without limitation, all damages referenced herein and all direct or general damages in contract, negligence, or otherwise), the entire liability of Case-Magic and any of its authorized suppliers shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the case.
